Week 8 Progress

1. Looking back. Are you happy with your progress so far? What are you most proud of? Do you have a good weekly routine? What are the class assignments that you enjoy the most? Are you using any of the extra credit options? How have things gone in terms of developing your blog and building your website?

I am happy with my progress so far. I think my stories are the thing I'm most proud of. I don't think I've established a good enough weekly routine just yet, but do have an idea of what adjustments I should make. In an odd way, I really enjoy the story-writing. I have never been a fan of writing in general. However, the creative component in story-writing makes it 10x more enjoyable. I have been using a few of the extra credit options here and there! I want to use them more in the coming weeks to be able to finish before dead week if possible. Building my website has come along well! I'm happy with where it is at now. I'm glad I was able to explore google sites and see how to go about working those.

2. Looking forward. Are there any changes you want to make for the second half of the semester? Any pitfalls you want to avoid? Something new you want to try in your writing? Anything you want to change about your blog or your project website?

Some changes I want to make include: doing more work earlier, taking advantage of more of the extra credit, and leaving the weekends more for other courses, research, recapping, etc. I think trying different writing styles for the remainder of my stories would spice things up. It might be a little difficult at first, but I think the nifty product would be worth it. I already take forever to write my stories, so taking a lil extra time to explore a new writing style wouldn't be the end of the world. 

P.S. I cannot believe we're already at week 8! Being busy makes classes fly straight by...
